The 17th edition of WLEC will gather participants from around the world to examine the evolving landscape of women’s leadership in today’s rapidly shifting global context. WLEC2026 invites scholars, professionals, activists, and community leaders to share research, case studies, and personal narratives that illuminate the ways women influence institutions, challenge social norms, and lead transformative initiatives within their communities.

* Applications and submission proposals are reviewed and accepted on a rolling admission basis. Space in the conference and the number of spots for speakers are limited to ensure the maximum value of the learning and networking experience. Admission may close earlier if the space fills up.
Call for Papers and Contributions
WLEC welcomes submissions of research papers, case studies, project presentations, policy analyses, and professional or personal experience-based contributions that relate to women’s leadership and empowerment.
Topics include (but are not limited to): women’s leadership across sectors, gender equality, empowerment frameworks, economic empowerment, community leadership, diversity and inclusion, social justice, women’s health and well-being, and education and mentorship.
