Tomorrow People Organization's Public Health Conference (PHC) is an international public health and healthcare conference in Asia that brings together scholars, practitioners and policymakers from around the world. History of the Public Health Conference (PHC)
The Public Health Conference (PHC) was launched in 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of Tomorrow People Organization’s boutique series of academic and professional events. From the beginning, its vision has been to create a space where public health, healthcare, nursing and medical sciences can meet in an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural setting.
Over the years, PHC has welcomed participants from a wide range of countries and institutions: universities and research centers, hospitals and healthcare organizations, public health agencies, NGOs and international bodies. The conference has been hosted primarily in Bangkok, with selected editions held in other locations in the region and in virtual format, while consistently keeping its focus on meaningful dialogue and genuine networking.
Each edition builds on the previous ones. Many participants return to continue collaborations, present follow-up research and welcome new colleagues into the PHC community. The series has remained intentionally small in scale, preserving its boutique character, while continuously evolving its themes to reflect current and emerging global health challenges.
