International Conference on New Research in History, Society and Science 2021 [HSSC2021] will gather scientists, academic and policy makers, from across the globe,. offering a unique platform for global stakeholders to network and discuss new scientific findings that expand perspectives on our society and evolution of evolution of science.

The 3-day program offer you an opportunity to share your experience with an international audience, expand your knowledge on the subject at hand and network with distinguished scientists from across the globe.

Call for papers

International Conference on New Research in History, Society and Science 2021 [HSSC2021] accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Research Papers: Completed research papers in any of the topic areas listed bellow or related areas.
  • Abstracts: Abstracts of completed or proposed research in any of the topic areas listed bellow, or related areas. The abstract for proposed research should include the research objectives, proposed methodology, and a discussion of expected outcomes.
  • Student Papers: Research done by students in any of the topic areas listed bellow, or related areas.
  • Case Studies: Case studies in any of the topic areas listed bellow, or related areas.
  • Work-in-Progress Reports or Proposals for Future Research: Incomplete research or ideas for future research in order to generate discussion and feedback in any of related areas.  
  • Reports on Issues Related to the conference topics: Reports related to innovative techniques or research related to any of the topic areas listed bellow or related areas.

Proposals are accepted on a rolling admission basis as long as space is available or by June 1st 2021 at latest and are to be be submitted along with application form. All submissions will be peer reviewed and acceptance/rejections is based on their quality and  relevance to the conference topics. Admission decisions are made within 7 days after the submission has been received.

Presentations

The following presentation formats will be possible at the conference:

  • Oral presentation - Take an advantage of oral presentation of your paper/ research on site and get the first hand remarks and comments from the audience. Encourage a live discussion regarding the presented topic and network with other researchers and academics in the field of education and related areas, from around the globe.
  • Video presentation – Registered presenters who are not able to attend the conference in person may opt for this presenting format. Participants will watch your pre recorded presentation. They will be able to fill in the reflection forms which we will be mailing back to you, if requested.
  • Poster presentation - Participants will get familiar with your research/ paper trough poster exhibition which will be available in the conference’s venue during the entire length of the program. Presenters will have an opportunity to discuss and explain their research in direct contact to the audience. Alternatively, if required by presenters, reflection forms can be distributed to the participating delegates, which will be mailed back to you after completed by the conference’s delegates

Publications

Two ISBN publications of the conference proceedings will be published: 
the book of abstracts and the book of full papers.

Authors who are admitted to the conference and who have completed registration arrangements may submit the final manuscripts for publication by September 10th 2021.

*   Onsite registration is available to observers only and is a subject to availability of spots. Due to limited space in the venue, we encourage early registrations as applications are being accepted and reviewed on a rolling admission basis as long as space is available.
**  If the 1st author of the paper is unable to attend the conference, the first co-author will be charged 1st author's admission fee.
*** Co-authors of the paper who are not attending the conference and wish to be listed in the authors' index in the official conference proceedings publication are requested to register at applicable fee.
**** Full time students attending the conference as observers only. Proof of full time student status may be required.
***** Authors who do not physically attend the conference and who present their papers remotely, either as a video (10 minutes) or poster presentation

Registration fee includes
  • Conference kit​: conference bag, booklet, brochure, notepad, pen, conference ID and conference gift
  • COVID-19 protection kit: face shield visor, face protection masks, hand protection gloves, hand sanitizer
  • Invoice of the registration fee
  • Admission to opening ceremony
  • Admission to all sessions
  • Coffee breaks, snacks and lunches during the conference
  • Review of the paper, its presentation and publication in the official conference proceedings (for authors)
  • Copy of official conference proceedings
  • Certificate of attendance (and certificate of presented paper for presenters)

Virtual registration fee includes
  • Conference brochure in a digital format
  • Invoice of the registration fee
  • Admission to all virtual conference sessions
  • Review of the paper and its publication in the official conference proceedings (for authors)
  • Presentation of accepted paper in a virtual format either as a video or digital poster presentation (for authors)
  • Copy of the conference proceedings
  • Certificate of presented paper for presenters - hard copy mailed to presenter's postal address

Cancellation policyIf provided written cancellation is received before 15th of April 2021 the full payment minus 100 EUR non refundable deposit and bank charges will be refunded. 16th of April 2021 - 31st of August 2021, 50% of the fees will be refunded. No refunds will be given after 31st of August 2021.
The cancellation policy applies to all reservations made. ​​

Application 

Applications are being accepted and reviewed on a rolling admission basis as long as space is available. Admission decision is made within 7 days, after the application has been submitted. If admitted to the conference, you will be asked to confirm your position and complete registration within the period of two weeks in most cased or less if admission closing date comes sooner.  Please read terms and conditions prior to submitting your application.

FAQs

WHERE DOES THE CONFERENCE TAKE PLACE?
International Conference on Traditional Medicine and Holistic Healing 2021 will take place in Bangkok, Thailand. All sessions will take place in AETAS Lumpini hotel, conveniently located the main business district in Bangkok- Sathorn, easily accessible from any point in the city by MRT and BTS.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Registered delegates should arrive to the conference venue on 5th of November 2021 before 2pm, when the conference will officially start with the opening ceremony.
WHEN SHOULD I DEPART?
We strongly encourage all participants to stay in attendance throughout the conference. Please do not make departure plans before November 7th 2021, 2pm.
WHICH AIRPOT SHOULD I FLY TO?
There are two international airports in Bangkok: Suvarnabhumi airport (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK) both located within 30 kilometers from the city center. 
WHO CAN REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE?
The conference is open to scholars, scientists, historians, policy makers and others interested in the topics covered by the event. Applications are subject to review and approval by the HSSC2021 committee, as space is limited in order to maximize the value of learning and networking experience. 
WHAT DOES THE CONFERENCE FEE COVER?
The conference fee covers: conference kit, admission to all sessions, lunch and coffee breaks throughout the conference, review of the paper, its presentation and publication in the official conference proceedings (for authors), admission to networking dinner and a certificate of attendance/ presented paper.
DOES THE CONFERENCE FEE COVER ACCOMMODATION?
No. The admission fee does not cover accommodation costs. However, cost of accommodation in Bangkok is quite affordable. We are able to offer accommodation in the conference hotel, at special rates applicable for the HSSC2021 participants. Alternatively, participants may arrange accommodation in any other hotel as per their preference and budget.
DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?
No. The conference is non for profit and due to limited funds, we are not able to financially assist any participant at this time. Please, note that under no circumstances can we provide funds for travel and accommodation either. Instead, we encourage our participants to search for funding from outside organizations and we provide admitted applicants with a letter of support to enhance their fundraising efforts. A number of them receive some sort of funding from their home universities, as well as from the local NGO, corporate and governmental sectors in their home communities, hence you may want to address your request for funding to some of those organizations. ​
What will happen if I am unable to attend the conference in-person due to covid-19?
We offer a maximum flexibility policy with several options: 

1) You may opt to credit the paid admission fee toward another in-person conference organized by the Tomorrow People Organization and receive a complimentary invitation to attend or/ and present virtually at the TMHH2021
2) You may request a refund of a difference in admission fee for in-person and virtual attendance
3) You may request up to a full refund of admission fee, as per our standard refund policy
