History of the Belgrade International Conference on Education
The Belgrade International Conference on Education was created as a space for international dialogue on education in the heart of Southeast Europe. Over the years, BICE has welcomed participants from different regions, educational systems and professional backgrounds, all connected by a shared interest in improving teaching and learning.
After its first four editions, BICE established itself as a platform where research, policy and practice meet in a friendly, human-scale environment. With BICE2026, the conference continues this journey, building on previous editions and inviting new voices into its growing community.
