About Us | Tomorrow People Organization
Tomorrow People Organization, established in 2002 in Belgrade, Serbia, is a non-profit dedicated to fostering ethical education through exposure to diverse perspectives and cross-cultural experiences. Our mission is to be a catalyst for positive change by delivering programs and conferences that build inclusive connections in creative, think-tank environments.
Our Story
In 2002, Vladimir Mladjenovic participated in a study abroad program that changed his life forever. Having grown up in an isolated country under international sanctions during a civil war, it was his first trip abroad. Surrounded by students from more than 25 countries, Vladimir was exposed to a world of diverse cultures, perspectives, and ideas. At the time, he barely spoke English but was eager to learn from others and share his own experiences.
However, the journey was not without challenges. He encountered prejudices from others, many of whom held universalized views about his country and people based on media portrayals. At the same time, he confronted his own preconceived notions about the world. That program opened a door to a world he didn’t know existed and became the foundation of his life’s mission.
Inspired by this transformative experience, Vladimir founded Tomorrow People Organization to create similar opportunities for others. His vision was to provide a platform for individuals to express themselves, share their unique perspectives, and learn from the richness of global diversity. He often describes this experience as taking a "loan from the Universe," one he felt compelled to repay by empowering others to build bridges across cultures, challenge biases, and foster mutual understanding.
Since its inception, Tomorrow People Organization has grown into an internationally recognized platform, hosting academic conferences, educational programs, and global networking events. Over the years, the organization has welcomed participants from more than 130 nationalities, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and inspiring transformative change.

Our Mission
Tomorrow People Organization is dedicated to fostering ethical education and global awareness by creating inclusive, cross-cultural spaces where diverse perspectives can meet, be heard, and respected. Through our academic conferences and educational programs, we aim to catalyze meaningful dialogue, inspire responsible leadership, and support individuals and communities in creating positive, tangible change.
Our Vision
We envision a world where education transcends borders and disciplines, and where genuine dialogue across cultures leads to more just, peaceful, and sustainable societies. Tomorrow People Organization strives to be a trusted global platform where ideas, experiences, and people connect to imagine — and co-create — a better tomorrow.
Our Core Values
Ethical Education
We believe education should cultivate integrity, responsibility, and compassion. Our programs encourage critical thinking, empathy, and a commitment to doing what is right, even when it is not easy.
Diversity of Perspectives
For us, diversity is first and foremost about ideas, experiences, and ways of thinking. We intentionally bring together people who differ not only in culture, discipline, or professional background, but also in worldview.
We believe that diversity and inclusivity are rooted in the freedom to exchange different opinions, challenge assumptions, and learn from one another — not merely in the representation of race, gender, nationality, or similar categories.
This approach fosters meaningful dialogue that sparks innovation, understanding, and authentic human connection.
Inclusivity and Belonging
We create welcoming environments where every participant — regardless of title, background, or country — is treated with equal respect and invited to contribute. Every voice matters, and every experience enriches the collective conversation.
Inclusivity and Belonging
We value open, honest, and intellectually humble conversations. Rather than promoting a single narrative, we create platforms where questions are encouraged, assumptions are examined, and new understandings can emerge.
Global Community and Collaboration
Our work is grounded in building relationships that last beyond any single event. We foster connections that lead to collaborations, projects, and friendships across borders.
Impact
We measure success by the depth of conversations, the quality of connections, and the real-world initiatives and stories that grow out of our gatherings.
Responsibility to People and Planet
Through partnerships — such as planting a tree for every participant — we affirm our responsibility to the environment and to future generations. We also support and engage with local communities in the places where we work, contributing to their well-being through respectful collaboration and sustainable practices. In all that we do, we aim to align our work with broader global goals for sustainability, human development, and long-term positive impact.
Curiosity and Lifelong Learning
We believe that asking better questions is as important as finding answers. Our programs encourage curiosity, reflection, and continuous personal and professional growth.

We’ve partnered with One Tree Planted to plant trees!
One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity. Many projects have overlapping objectives, creating a combination of benefits that contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. To learn more, visit onetreeplanted.org
We’re honored to have reforestation through One Tree Planted as an integral part of our mission.
For every participant, Tomorrow People Organization will plant a tree!
Tomorrow People Organization is planting with a purpose of supporting farmers. As a small organization we cannot change the world, but we can create a meaningful impact and change the world of an individual. And, with your help, maybe, even of an entire community.
