Leadership and
Education
The topic of this year's International Leadership Conference is
“Leadership and Education”.
The topic of this year’s
Conference is inspired by eternal dilemma- Are leaders born or are
they made? What makes one be a leader? Can leadership be learned,
developed? What is the role of education in creating a leader and
is it possible to create it anyway?
Some experts agree that
leadership, as all skills, can be learned. The
principles of leadership remain constant- the literature is clear
on the essential components, styles, and dynamics, but can it
teach you how to put all the principles into practice, motivate
and lead people? Although there are certainly many things that can
be learned and developed, there are also some personal characteristics
you have to be born with, characteristics that cannot be taught.
What are those characteristics that make one become a leader?
By
taking a part in International Leadership Conference 2005, you
will have a chance to learn and discuss this and many more issues
of importance in creating and developing leadership skills.
