Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference 2007

Peace and conflict resolution is most important to keeping the world a healthy and productive environment for only a free man can be open to gaining new knowledge and experiences and passing them on to others for mutual well-being. A man, who is not free, can only think of freedom. By maintainig conflicts in the world, leaving unsettled disputes to smolder in search of lower interests, a man’s freedom is in jeopardy.

This Conference will try to answer multiple questions regarding the key factors to peace building and different impacts on its sustainability as well the conflict management and resolution in the modern world.

Conference themes and topic for discussions and papers submission include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Global/Regional peace maintaining factors
  • Cross-Cultural perspectives to peace and conflict resolution
  • Government and Peace
  • Religion and Peace
  • Obstacles to settling disputes and conflicts
  • Lower interests, stereotypes, or political agendas in the conflict resolution?
  • Understanding and embracing the differences in conflicted sides?
  • Conflict assessment – involving the third party in conflict resolution – pros and cons?
  • Global justice and legislation
  • NGO’s devoted to peace – success stories

All submissions (papers, detailed executive summaries, cases, and panel proposals) will be reviewed, and acceptance/rejection is based upon quality and relevance to the conference. Submit the abstract of your presentation along with the application form
