Location
Poverty and Social Protection Conference 2010 will take place in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. All sessions will be held in the “Royal Benja Hotel" conveniently located in one of the best commercial areas in Bangkok and only 20 minutes away from the Bangkok international airport.
Accommodations
We offer accommodation in “Royal Benja Hotel" (http://www.royalbenja.th.com/index.html), which is where the Conference will take place. This is a quality three star hotel located in one of Bangkok’s best commercial areas, with easy access to both downtown and the international airport. All rooms are equipped with private bath, AC, telephone and TV. PSPC 2010 participants are entitled to special discounted rate of 45 Euro per room per night, single or double, with breakfast and tax included.
Meals
All lunches and coffee breaks during the Conference are included in the Conference fee, as is a networking dinner that will take place on November 8th 2010.

A non-refundable 100 Euro is required to secure your spot in the Conference and is due two weeks after you have been officially invited to join the Conference. This amount will be credited toward the Conference fee.

Financial Support
Due to our non-profit nature and very limited funds, we are not able to provide financial support that would cover Conference fee, accommodation or travel expenses to any of our participants. However, we encourage participants to search for funding from outside organizations and we can provide a letter of support for them.
Applications
On-line applications will be accepted on a rolling admission basis as long as there is space available. Due to a highly competitive admission process, we encourage all applicants to apply early.
Abstracts/ Papers Submissions
If interested in presenting a paper/ research at the Conference, you can submit your abstract along with the application form by October 1st 2010. Full papers are due October 15th 2010 in electronic version and following format:

A4 size paper

Single line space, preferably Times New Roman 12 font.

Abstract of maximum 200 words on first page (under title)

Total paper length to be maximum of 12,000 words (approximately 24 full pages)

Short bio-data of writer/s at end of paper.
Acceptance
All submissions (presentation abstracts, outlines, papers, summaries, etc.) will be reviewed and will serve as the basis for acceptance/rejection.
Admission
Approximately 50 participants, including students, scholars, corporate and NGO representatives will be invited to participate in this highly interesting and challenging international event. Successful applicants will be notified within ten days from the day their application has been received.
Agenda
Conference Agenda will be available in October 2010, after the list of presentations and accepted papers has been finalized.
