How much money should I bring?
We suggest you bring 300-450 USD for a month. Of course, it depends on
your personal needs; however, 350 USD should be more than enough
for meals, entertainment, small gifts and souvenirs. Useful
information is that you should take into account the nightlife
expenses since all bars and clubs are open seven days a week for tourists and young people who like to go
out. Also, Belgrade and Serbia have a wide variety of cultural
events, from concerts, festivals to all kinds of performances you
might wish to see.

What if I get sick?
Our ground staff will be there to help you so contact them immediately. There are hospitals and clinics in all major towns, and health
centres, as well as pharmacies, in all smaller places. For
patients whose lives are in danger, there is emergency transport
by air (helicopter). On weekends and public
holidays in high season, when highest density of traffic is
expected, police helicopters with medical teams supervise the
major roads. Foreign tourists do not have to pay for medical services if there
is a signed health insurance convention between Serbia and their
country of origin. Health care costs for tourists from a country
that does not have a signed convention with Serbia are paid
directly by the user in accordance with listed prices. W
strongly recommend obtaining an international health insurance to
avoid any possible costs of this kind.
Pharmacies in Belgrade are easy to identify by the bright green
medical and cross logo located outside doors. Pharmacies are well
equipped with medicines for the common cold and prescriptions, all
at reasonable prices.

Will I have any free time to go site seeing or travel independently?
Yes, you will have free afternoons and weekends. There should be enough
time for exploring the sights of Belgrade and visiting
nearby villages, cities. You could even take weekend trips to neighboring countries!
Serbia
is situated near Hungary,
Austria
and
Greece and it
would take you only a few of hours to reach
Budapest
or you may take an overnight train to visit Athens and Vienna. Yet, we would recommend exploring the sights of
Serbia’s beautiful
countryside. There are
many historical cities and sights as well as national parks that
would surely amaze you. Besides cultural sights
Serbia is
determined to base its tourist activities on culture and natural
beauty.
