When should I arrive?
You
should arrive to Bangkok on Friday 07th March 2008, and be at
"First Hotel Bangkok" no later than 2 p.m.
When should I
depart?
Please,
do not make any arrangements for your departure before Sunday,
9th March 2008
in the afternoon. Participants are expected to be in attendance
during the entire Conference.
Where does the
Conference take place?
The
Conference will take place at "First Hotel Bangkok"- a very nice
3 star hotel, conveniently located in one of the best commercial
areas in Bangkok. It is close to the downtown and city attractions
and of easy access to the airport.
Where will I be accommodated during
the conference?
We can arrange
hotel accommodation for you in "First Hotel Bangkok" (www.firsthotelbangkok.com),
where the Conference will be taking place. It is to be paid
supplementary and will costs 38 US dollars per night per room,
with breakfast and tax included.
You are also welcome to arrange accommodation on your own
or if you have a friend or a relative living in Bangkok, you may
also stay with them.
Will I have to stay in the hotel?
No, you can
arrange accommodation on your own, in which case you pay only a
Conference fee without accommodation costs included.
Is it possible to stay in the hotel before or after the
Conference?
Yes, as long as you inform us about your
planes on time we can book a hotel room for you. Please, keep in
mind that March is a high season period in Bangkok and you will
probably have to make reservation at least a month before coming
to Thailand.
What does the Conference fee cover?
The Conference fee
covers: admission to all the sessions, presentations of submitted papers, discussions, lunches and coffee breaks during the Conference, a
networking dinner, closing cocktail, all the materials for
following the sessions and certificate issued by Tomorrow People
Organization.
Is
the Conference fee reimbursable?
Please,
check "cancellation policy" at the section FEES.
Do
I have to submit and present a paper?
No,
paper submission and presentation is not mandatory.
What is the dress code?
There is no official dress code, but have in mind that you will be
meeting some company representatives and scholars from all over
the world and might be a part of some formal events, so we do
suggest having something appropriate for that purpose.
Packing list
Once you confirm your participation, you will get the list of things you
should take.
Visa
Visa
assistance will be provided on request. For those requiring visa, please specify in the application form at our
web site and make sure your name, address or fax number and
passport number are correct.
